Cosine Bird Whistles (Set of 2)

Handmade using a traditional Japanese wood grinding method. This sculptural pair was inspired by a Japanese dove flute and was meant to evoke a parent and child relationship. The set is made by Cosine, a Japanese company that was initially started to up-cycle waste woods from the furniture industry to create their products. Using reclaimed wood, the Birds are handmade from ground walnut, which is sandwiched between maple wood that shapes the wings. Not intended for small children. Made in Japan.
